Hello everyone...I am finding myself very anxious tonight. The movers will be here in the morning to pack up. I thought I was ready for all this, but I'm not sure now. Its going to be a huge adjustment for all of us. When I'm stressed I scrap so this is what I've been doing.

This is my favorite out of all the ones Ive finished this week. These colors speak to me and I never imagined this messy food pic could look so cute. One of my favorite all time pages. I think this orange AC papers looks great with the Elsie paper.

Well thats it. Im going to try to finish Blakes 9 month milestone page, but I'm not sure if I will find the time. Toooddles ~Cathy.

Whats your style?

According to this cool little quiz, here my decorating style is family modern. Modern I'm not so sure about this. I'm not a huge fan of the molded form shaped chairs or the armless flat sofas. I do love my space to be kid family, as kids will always be welcome in any room in my home. These are a few of the images used to determine my style as modern.

Am I modern in your mind? I would consider my style more traditional contemporary. I love browns, oranges, and greens this year. I dare everyone to give it a try and see your results. P.S If its nice tomorrow, maybe I'll get my latest pages posted. The clean a little, scrap a little more technique seems to be working for me.

New pics

Today was Josh's official last reporting day with the army. He is still enlisted until sometime in October, but he doesn't have to go back in. He says he is happy, but I'm not really sure. He didn't want to get out when all this started. I wanted to get a photo in his uniform today, but that didn't happen.

Blake is growing so fast. He turned 16 months yesterday. He is playing with cars and trucks, which I love. Last night he put all his little matchbox cars in a bowl type toy and carried then over to Josh's desk. Once there he sit in the floor dumped them out and starred up at josh. It was so incredibly cute. So of course daddy had to play cars with him. See how freaking cute and content he is playing on the stairs. I'm not sure if I will scrap this pic or not, not really sure how. Any ideas?

Ok so I took another break from cleaning to work on this. I love the hello sunshine line from Cosmo Cricket. Its full of colors I love right now. This Layout features a photo I took of Blake playing the green grass. It was freshly mowed, and he so busy exploring it. It was so cute. I'm sorry for the shadows on this. My scanner really stinks and they were a nasty cover cast today. BUT it makes for a lovely August day here in Colorado.

I should be cleaning....

Man did this weekend fly by. I've been busy cleaning out the closets and basement. Cleaning things out but not really cleaning up, I'm making very little process. We have about 15 more days to go before the big move. So you guessed it, not alot of scrap time this weekend. I managed to squeeze in this page. Ive been loving this American Crafts play pattern paper lately. I believe this is the last of it. (I'm sure your all tired of seeing it.) But that's ok, because I used my gift card to order tons of the new American crafts and Tinkering Ink lines. Have you scrappers seen the new foil thickers? Instant LOVE.......... I love thickers. Other companies should take notice and come out with a line of chip letters that are affordable, awesome, and includes enough letters to make more than one title. One of the reasons I love thickers so much.

Its August

....and therefore our last month in Colorado. I "must" get out and take a few fotos of the city. Josh and I put in our 30 day notice on Thursday, so there's no turning back now. Do you want to know our plans? The movers will be here on the 21st to pack our house, and our things be Georgia bound. Then once the house is empty (except for the essentials) I will be busy cleaning and scrubbing it down that weekend (yes I'm the type that expects all my deposit back!) Monday morning we will drop off the keys and be homeward bound. Exciting! I cant wait for everyone to see and meet Blake. I know they will love him as we do.

I made this Layout last night, when I couldn't sleep. It just sorta feel together. I "borrowed" one of my DH old uniform patches for it. After all he is getting out, so he doesn't really need them anymore does he? ;) This entire page was made from my scrap bin. I love when that's possible. The little soldier guy and flag are made by Me and my big ideas, and Ive had them
for about 4 years now. I know wow, but I really like them on here. I know its not hugely embellished but anyhow...... Smooches to all. ~ Pink Cadillac ( no one has called me that in sooo long.)
